PM Modi and the state government are taking strict actions on the lockdown of the states and union territories.
The Indian government on 22nd March evening, imposed on the lockdown of the country. Mostly covering the major states and cities, as the number of the COVID-19 cases are rising at an alarming rate. The total death toll of the coronavirus cases has reached to 7 as per our latest sources and surveys.
The total number of positive cases currently has risen to 415. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked the people to strictly follow the guidelines and be quarantined for the period. The Union Government has asked the States to impose strict actions on the people violating the rules or guidelines.
Though the “Janata Curfew” closed on Sunday, most parts of India came under a lockdown. Several state governments have imposed on the public transport shut down and different other restrictions in the area for the prevention of the spread of Coronavirus pandemic.
While different States and Union Territories have locked down their region, others have ordered for the complete shutdown of those districts that have a rising number of COVID-19 cases. Essential services like grocery, milk and vegetables, pharmacies, hospitals and telecom services are going to be open.
